Thank you very much for the beautiful and wise cartoon. This cartoon reminded me Osho's words that Love is the biggest risk what you ever can experience, but without Love your Soul never will blossom.

The tree was left with a sweet memories and a story. On life's scale, that would outweighthe pain of the cat's departure. If the tree shares itself with other creatures, it would gain even more.

Perhaps that resembles a parent/child relationship. But, if the cat feels lost once again, she knows where she can turn to, I'm sure. Just like a child who sometimes needs to return to their parents from time to time.

Or more than the cat THINKS she needs the tree. It strikes me that the cat didn't learn very much at all, but thinks that she did.

I think the cat left despite what the tree's plea.As sad as it may be, when there's time for gathering, there's a time for departure. If the cat stays, it may never become independent, so it may not be a good thing. Just like people. We all have our own paths, and they cross and diverge all the time. I find it interesting that in the end, the tree, who is the strong one, is the one who needs the cat more than the cat needs the tree. |
