@johnfranks This seems to be a normal class 2 laser pointer. This should be absolutely harmless for the eyes of the cat if it doesn’t stare into it for seconds and cats normally don’t stare into a laser beam for seconds.
But this toy proably won’t work with my cat, because he would pull out the cables.
But maybe I will just buy a cheap robot and attach a laser pointer to it.

pikachu would probably prefer you add some blanking so he/she doesn’t get his/her eye poked out by the laser. plus, i can keep my dogs’ interested a lot longer if they think they caught the laser!
