    @KCHCvideos Your parents need education about declawing. It actually causes physical and psychological issues, leading to higher aggression in cats, and because they can’t scratch, they then bite. Declawing serves no purpose to the cat and is more for human convenience. In fact most countries have outlawed declawing simply because of animal cruelty. You’re right, it is inhuman. I hope you’re able to convince your parents that declawing a cat is not an option for responsible cat ownership :)

    dood, i wanted a cat my whole life rite, my parents finally said i kan get a cat but under the terms i get it declawed, I know declawing is inhumane (I think so my self-i don’t think its fair at all) but if i provide it a good invirement and take car of it and do WHAT I CAN, won’t I deserve to have a cat??? I’m really worried about getting it declawed, don’t the anastetic’s even cause possible retardation in cats??? This ain’t really fair on my part…

    THANK YOU for not recommending declawing. There are alternatives and these are great examples. With proper training a cat can learn to not scratch furniture.
