Plans or website for cat furniture and catwalks?

Looking for an easy DIY site to give me ideas on building a catwalk and possibly some furniture to act as a safe haven from my dog. The cats need their own place to hang out :)

Individual shelves placed at intervals or at different heights to form ladders would work – as per the photos on these links.
